Pamela Carroll Realist Painter with Pamela Carroll In this presentation Pamela Carroll will share a power point visual show of her work. Beginning with a few earlier photorealism works in gauche on paper rag to her journey to working in oils and from life. During this time, she will also discuss her choices of subjects to paint and how she composes the setups. She will show and discuss some of her work that is currently displayed at the Winfield Gallery and Carmel Art Association. Pamela Carroll was born and raised in Southern California and is a self-taught artist. She embraces the traditional focus of realism and has been influenced greatly by the early Dutch masters as well as contemporary realist painters of today. She has been a dedicated artist for the majority of her adult life with the exception of a sixteen year hiatus during which her priority was motherhood. Pam Carroll is currently a full time artist and paints daily. Join us for a six-part lecture series about the diverse and wonderful art currently being made by artists in Central California. Local experts will be featured in one-hour lectures about their chosen subjects. Visitors are welcome to bring food and drinks during this lunchtime lecture series.
