Feldenkrais: Teaching the Body How to Program the Brain!
On Monday, December 10, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., learn about the health benefits of the Feldenkrais Method from Patric Zito, M.Ed., GCFP, NCTMB, CMT. Zito’s talk
is an interactive introduction into the Feldenkrais Method - covering historical context, some biographical information on Dr. Feldenkrais, a detailed discussion of the two Feldenkrais modalities, benefits of the method, as well as central principles, and much more.
This event is part of The Next Chapter: Designing Your Ideal Life lecture series sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Monterey Public Library Endowment Committee. Patric Zito is a husband and father of an adult son. He has a Master Degree in Education, is a Guild certified Feldenkrais practitioner/teacher and is nationally and state certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He has worked nationally and internationally as a somatic therapist since 1983. Zito currently is an instructor at the Monterey Institute of Touch and has a private Feldenkrais Movement practice in Carmel.
