Business Roundtable – 7/7/2020 – 10:00am
MISSION: Success in two stages during the Covid-19:
1) Response to the immediate threat
2) Economic recovery when the threat diminishes.
Recap
- General Question. How are you preparing to face restrictive measures again? Closure of indoor service at bars, restaurants, museums effective 7/8/2020 at 12:01 am.
- City of Monterey. Closing beaches during the 4th of July weekend was deemed proactive and positive. Code compliance officers visited over 300 businesses and issued only 3 citations for face covering/social distancing violations. Masks distribution was almost not needed. Temporary encroachment allowing business to use sidewalks is free, uncomplicated and can help retail and restaurants.
