It has come to our attention that yesterday's Business Roundtable Recap was truncated. Here's what you missed:

  1. Human Services. Short staffing problems: EDD posted that people are now required to prove they are looking for work; CalOSHA updated safety protocols including sheet with instructions for employers.
  2. Non-Profit sector. Rental and utility assistance program continuing; pre-paid childcare credit will start this week ($250/$300 per month per child.)
  3. Transportation. Government Affairs Liaison for Chamber reported on MST Board vote for SURF! Bus Rapid Transit project and lawsuit threats.
  4. Construction. High bidding activity bodes well for future; Los Laureles Grade improvements about done; CV Road work progressing as Hwy 1 on-ramps in Salinas.
