Food Bank for Monterey County's 5-Acre Farm is a Kubota 2022 Hometown Proud Finalist! The farm to table property serves 3,700 square miles providing for 1 in 4 children as well as 1 in 5 adults in our county. Out of 900 applicants, 5-Acre Farm received a $100,000 grant to build a new barn to house their new Kubota tractor, a produce wash station and specialty foods. They now have the opportunity to win an ADDITIONAL $100,000 to help in their mission to instill healthy habits in next generation and to change the trajectory of food related health issues in Monterey County.
