Each year on March 8 we celebrate women-owned and/or operated businesses and organizations in Monterey County. International Women's Day helps support the business community by celebrating women’s achievements, raising awareness against bias, and taking action for equality.

Ways to Celebrate:

Send a message of appreciation to your women peers, colleagues, or family members
Support a woman-owned small business — Many of your fellow MPCC Members are woman-owned and/or operated!
Donate to a woman-centric charity or organization. There are organizations that need your support locally; here are a handful of organizations to spark the giving bug: Community Foundation for Monterey County Women's Fund, Gathering for Women, G.I. Josie, Set Free Monterey Bay, YWCA Monterey County, and many more.

Get Involved! Volunteer, Donate or Sponsor Women Build March 2023

Each year Habitat for Humanity Monterey County invites business and community to come together for "Women Build" a special event empowering and uplifting women's roles in construction. This year, they have decided to expand from one week to a full month of builds.

Volunteers work on the build site, alongside our professional construction crew, future homeowners, and other volunteers. No prior construction experience is required.

Local businesses are invited to donate, volunteer or sponsor

to Women Build March 2023.

MIXER: "Potter the Otter" Exhibit at Del Monte Center

MY Museum has opened a traveling pop-up exhibit at Del Monte Center. "Potter the Otter: A Healthy Adventure" is based on the popular Potter the Otter book series published by First 5 Santa Clara County. Join us as we celebrate the opening of this interactive STEM exhibit — kids attend for FREE!
