October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer and the importance of early detection. The Breast Cancer Assistance Group of Monterey County will once again partner with a variety of community organizations and events, through their October ‘Pink Partners’ campaign to raise money for their Breast Cancer Assistance Grant program. Proceeds from the campaign will assist local women experiencing financial difficulties while undergoing breast cancer treatment.
