MIXER RECAP: René Romero Schuler Fine Art

Thank you to René Romero Schuler for opening her beautiful Downtown Monterey studio to network, view her artwork and learn about her creative process. Feminine figures are a constant in Schuler’s art, which she claims is equal parts self-portraiture and depictions of the range of emotions she has experienced. Currently represented by galleries across the U.S., Canada and Europe, Schuler has had major exhibitions throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia, and has work included in the permanent collections of numerous museums and institutions.

Her next exhibit, WOMAN, will debut at the Sunset Cultural Center on March 6 in celebration of women’s impact on human history in tandem with Women’s History Month.

GRAND OPENING: Tipsy Putt Monterey

Tipsy Putt is a hyper-local mini golf experience featuring craft beer and casual Mexican fare. Designed with adults in mind, Tipsy Putt welcomes all ages until the evening hours. In addition to interactive games, the pub caters to team building events, birthday parties or friendly gatherings. Tipsy Putt encourages its guests to look up from their phones and engage with each other in some old school, analog fun.

Tipsy Putt Monterey is the fifth Tipsy Putt location to open. “Tipsy Putt is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience that combines tactile games, camaraderie and incredible dining and drinks,” Tipsy Putt CEO Brandon Robinson stated in a press release. “We’re thrilled to be a part of Monterey’s incredible ecosystem and welcome the community to make memories with us at Tipsy Putt.”
