Celebrating Our 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree: Keith Severson


Keith Severson is the Director of Marketing and Community Involvement for Graniterock and has been with Company for over 29 years. Previously, Keith was in the fast-food industry for almost 20 years. As with many Graniterock People, he brings anentrepreneurial spirit to his job. Graniterock People own their jobs. In that expectation, they are expected to both do the work and improve the work.


Keith has a degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a father of two children. He is married to Carleen Jeffery. His personal interests are in food, art and recreational running. He has completed 18 Big Sur International Marathons.

Congressman Panetta Announces $1.92 Million in Federal Funding for Monterey Wharf No. 2


Needed upkeep and repairs are coming to Monterey’s Municipal Wharf No. 2 to ensure the structure can continue to be used and to support fishing operations.


Rep. Jimmy Panetta, Carmel Valley, announced that $1.92 million in federal funding will be used for Monterey to make critical repairs to Wharf No. 2. Panetta made the announcement on the Wharf Tuesday, joined by Monterey city officials and business owners.


Panetta said while the nearby Wharf No. 1 often draws attention for tourism, Wharf No. 2 plays a key role in Monterey’s fishing industry.
